My experience trying Sweet Earth

Sweet Earths was gracious enough to send me four artisan bowls {Korean Japchae, Pad Thai, Kyoto Stir Fry, and General Tso’s Tofu} to try. Each product is served in individual ready to eat bowls with the choice of microwaving them or baking them. I opted to microwave the dishes, because well, i’m impatient and realized it takes 1/3 of the time. In fact, each item takes less than 10 minutes to prepare and that includes the cooling down time too.

The Korean Japchae is traditional Korean flavors with sesame, shitake mushrooms and garlic soy sauce paired with veggies and yam noodles; the Pad Thai is a Thai blend of organic noodles, tofu, crisp vegetables bathed in tamarind and lime sauce; the General Tso’s Tofu is a Chinese takeout classic with tangy sweet & sour sauce layered over crisp and tender tofu paired with organic brown rice and steamed broccoli; and the Kyoto Stir Fry is a Japanese dish with tofu, crunchy veggies, rice and tossed in a ginger-sesame miso sauce. Did I mention all these dishes are VEGAN?!

For a moment, while consuming these dishes, you almost forget that these are all vegan. The flavors are bold, the veggies maintained their  flavor and freshness throughout the dish, and the dish tasted very very similar to their meat counterparts at restaurants. Not to mention, the best feeling of all, no post-food consumption guilt involved! LOL. The nutritional content for these products are phenomenal. Like I said earlier, this is a great alternative for the health conscious and the veggie/vegan lovers out there!
